We love Highfield Park. We just do. It’s wonderful. Perfect staff, perfect views, lovely building, excellent. So, anytime we get invited back to photograph another amazing wedding there, we just cannot help contain our excitement. Becky and Ged’s day was no exception. With their two beautiful daughters there alongside Mummy and Daddy, you just cant help smile at their little faces. Leaning right into the Disney theme, Becky had decked out Highfield was loads of tiny little references to her favourite Disney movies, a passion she’s definitely passed onto her little girls as Rapunzel arrived during the wedding breakfast to look after the girls!
Highfield and the surrounding countryside presented us with an absolutely incredible golden sunset, and wow was it worth it!
Thank you thank you thank you! Congratulations to you two and your beautiful girls!

DM's Favourite Places - Warbrook House
Grand old country mansion in the Berkshire countryside? yes please. Weddings there? Even more yes please.
Well, let us introduce you to Warbrook House, a Grade I listed mansion that now hosts some of the counties most beautiful weddings, and we’re lucky enough to photograph them.
Set in it’s secluded land, complete with woodlands, lakes and a massive garden area for you and your guests to socialise and let’s be honest, get drunk in. Warbrook House really does provide a day to remember.
Throughout the Autumnal season, the woodlands really are to die for, bursting with colours from auburn to deep deep olives and sages. Let’s be honest, it does create nature’s most perfect backdrop for photos, and with a quick 1 minute golf buggy ride from the hotel, we can whisk you up there for some tranquil release from the mayhem of weddings. All while creating wall-worthy images at the same time.
Littered with hidden doorways, hidey holes, gates, fences and woodland, we really can go truly crazy with creative ideas at Warbrook House, especially when couples throw the umbrella and just go for it!
Lucy and Craig, I still take my hat off to you for this!
Oh, did I forget to mention? In the summer the woodlands are blessed with all of the colours of life, purples, greens, reds, bluebells, yellows, it really is something to behold, and a sight I really feel has to be seen in person to be appreciated for it’s true wonder.
And yes. Don’t worry. We know where the sunset is. We got you.
Claire and James | Northbrook Park | Hampshire Wedding Photography
What to do when the sky’s grey and it’s your wedding day? Get on with it!! That’s exactly what Claire and James did, and boy oh boy wasn't it truly magical. The most amazing autumnal colours, spectacular orange, brown and red leaves, mixing with the gorgeous evergreens of Northbrook Park.
With James and the lads looking sharp in their grey tweed, and Claire and the girls absolutely wowing in their dresses, everything was perfect.
And then, the heavens opened, and boom. It was rain picture time. Running out without a care in the world, Claire and James got the most incredible pictures!
Hannah & Sam | Queen's Hotel | Southsea Wedding Photographer
Let’s talk, Halloween Weddings. If you’re gonna do it, do it right. Go big or go home right? Well, Hannah and Sam certainly did it properly. At the Queen’s Hotel in Southsea, they had the whole thing. Pumpkins, skulls, witchcraft books, steaming cauldrons. Wow. Everything.
With Sam absolutely killing it in his Orange-Red Tux, and Hannah dropped jaws in her beautiful Dress with handmade cape - also, let’s talk capes. Bridal capes are awesome. Like, super awesome. Hannah’s adorned with moons and stars, all handplaced by her, and man it looks amazing.
Not letting the weather slow them down, Hannah wanted photos on the beach and at the pier, so in the middle of the windiest weekend this autumn… there we were, on the beach, in the rain, gales, and yes. It was brilliant.
Thank you guys, an absolute pleasure!

Charlotte and Ric | Millbridge Court | Farnham Wedding Photographer
Booking a wedding in December is always going to result in some anxious BBC Breakfast watching, some crossed fingers, and probably a bit of praying. Looks like Charlotte and Ric can count their lucky stars, as their day at Millbridge court was blessed with some of the bluest sky we’d had all year!
With her absolutely beautiful dress, and jaw dropping flowers from Hannah Berry, Charlotte wowed everybody, all day! With her gorgeous daughter Mabel in tow, it really was an endearing sight.
With Ric going for the good ole check three-piece, looking dapper as always, the pair were a sight to behold!
With singing waiters, neon signs, and a bouncing dance floor, we won’t be forgetting this day in a hurry!

Sometimes, all you need to distract from the rain, is one of the most striking, classic and beautiful country homes in the country, and here we are. Tylney Hall wedding venue for Natasha & Rob’s special day, surrounded by countless friends and family, many of whom made the 500 mile trip down from north of the border.
The rain and soft ground wouldn’t stop them though, with Natasha spending her days in the fields with her horses, her wedding day wasn’t going to be any different! On went the wellies, and out in the gardens we went! Across the bridge with the most gorgeous view of Tylney Hall in the background, what a sight.
Aided by the ever-wonderful Pav, the toastmaster, we had a really amazing day with Natasha & Rob, and would like to say thank you again for having us there!

And Natalie and Matthew made the most of it!
Gemma & Rich | Dorset Wedding Photographer
You gotta love outdoor ceremonies, I mean, very, very brave to plan and organise one in the UK, at any time of year, but hey, Gemma and Rich got lucky, and scored the jackpot! Nice and warm, not too hot, with a lovely bit of cloud to help make their pictures really stunning! A true joy to photograph this one! After a gorgeous garden party, complete with badminton and a climbing frame… up to the Manor House for party time! And what a party it was! 10/10 on the drunken shenanigans you lot! All in all, just a ruddy good laugh! And a great, great day at work!
Carly & Chris | Wasing Walled Garden Wedding
We can only start this by congratulating Carly (and maybe chris) on her (their) discovery of the spectacular Walled Garden at Wasing, on the same estate, and just down the path from the exquisite Wasing Park, the walled garden is the DIY, garden party, woodland ceremony, festival vibe wedding venue we’re all looking for! I mean.. just look at it! Truly magical. With some incredible styling, mind-blowing food, and a good splash of happy guests, their wedding will be one for the memory for sure! P.S… their photos are quite good too!
Lucy & Ryan - Easthampstead Park - Berkshire Wedding
Never was there such a love between people as that of Lucy, Ryan, their children and their family. It was infectious, the smiles, the laughs, the hugs, it was really truly stunning. It was a pleasure to be a part of their day at Easthampstead Park, surrounded by this sheer joy! With Lucy’s proud brother walking her down the aisle to Ryan, such a smile is a rare seen thing but my word it made us happy to see them together, publicly declaring their love and commitment in front of those they hold close.
DM's Favourite Places - Old Thorns Golf Resort

Oh did we mention they’re huge… yeah.. well, they’re huge! Honestly, endless, endless possibilities for photographs here!
Along with their stunning, light, airy and beautiful ceremony rooms, overlooking the hills of the surrounding golf course, you can even adventure up and around the course to find the perfect spot for those breathtaking sunsets! - which, by the way, is a favourite past time of ours.
I wasn’t kidding when I said breathtaking sunsets… I mean I really wasn’t. They are honestly incredible, and always the perfect way to round off any wedding day!
Why not run back outside for some nighttime pictures next to one of the many, many lakes? Doesn’t really get much better than the natural fog from the lakes, complimenting the picture and just making them that bit more dramatic!

Their bond together, the love between was them just a delight to be around, Sophie’s enchanting smile and Jack’s effortless humour really made their wedding such a wonderful occasion! The Mill House also provided a beautiful country house garden setting for them to drink and chat, along with some beautiful fields for those epic golden hour photos and we can’t wait to go back! A gorgeous blush pink for the bridesmaids and Jack’s details, and a classic marquee for the meal, perfect!
Chelsea & Josh | The Italian Villa | Dorset Wedding Photographer
When we first hear the words “The Italian Villa”.. oh. Now you’ve got our attention. One of our favourite venues, nestled right on the south coast of Poole, mere yards from the beach, is the truly idilic setting of The Italian Villa wedding venue, Poole.
Chelsea & Josh’s day did not disappoint, sun shining through the Japanese garden and bamboo canopy, with the dazzling reflections from the Roman garden fountain, how can you not be in awe of this gorgeous venue.
With Chelsea’s jaw dropping bouquet, incredible dress and picture-perfect hair and makeup, this really was a dream day out for us. With Josh not scrubbing up too badly, in a slim grey tweed number with royal purple accented items.

Nestled into the gorgeous Test Valley, you’ll find the adorable Old Dairy Farm wedding venue, Andover, and it was here, that Naomi and Will gathered their friends and family to celebrate their love, after a perfect church service in the magnificent St. Mary’s church, Andover. What a really fantastic day, with the weather holding out, Naomi looking wonderful in her traditional, shoulder strap bridal gown. And Will, in-keeping with the rustic feeling of The Old Dairy Barn, in a lush Grey checked suit.
As usual at DM Photography, when the sun goes down, we pray for the rain, to create our fabulous rain pictures, and low-behold, they got one! After a full day of sunshine, out came the stars and the rain, leaving Naomi and Will with a beautiful image for their wall for years to come!
